It's easy. Pulling reefer is the top tier. It's where truckers make millions and enjoy the best the industry has to offer. All the rest are trying to get into reefer. They're just not up to the standards. If you hear anything else. It's just due to their jealousy.

Not just pulling reefer, pulling reefer set to "cycle". When you pull into a truck stop and park next to someone, you want to be NOTICED.

 

Drive a reefer. Because even flatbedders need idols

Truly the best worst job I’ve ever had

 

It's the job I love to hate......been trying to get outta trucking since I started, at best I can stay away 4 to 5 years, then I'm sitting in a tractor and pulling a tanker, AGAIN, and thinking, "WTF just happened?"

 

The big difference with a tanker is that in most if not all cases the customer is glad to see you. Especially if the plant is about to shutdown because lack of product or the fuel tanks are about to go dry.

 

That's an opinion......and that's about all. I chose, and continue to choose, dry van freight haulin'. There are lots of reasons why.

Just because it's the easiest job to get doesn't mean it's the worst job to have.
