    You’re going center, but it’s not center, cause of top, try 2.5 ft infront of center.
    Going center will throw heavy on trailer, about 10k on that top of drop deck used to be max.

    That is what i tried today . I got 1 pallet on the top deck but sitting 35k on drives and 33k on trailer... im supposed to get my flatbed back next week . Hopefully it turns out good

    why the step if your hauling palletized?

    wirh 12 pallets could you put 6 starting at the step going back and the 6 starting right in front of the back axle going forward…?

    I haul all kinds of ####. And we have customers that only load a step. But really im on a step right now because thats all they had in the yard for me to use. Theres like 5 guys with this company that pull a flatbed. And i was 1.

    But no. for some reason loading like that puts trailer at like 42k and drives at 25k. Learned that one the hard way already.

    Start 4 to 6 feet forward of center and work out... Or 2/3 on rear, 1/3 on front. See how that works out for ya.

    I think that is my problem i dont understand where the center of the trailer is at. It should be the marker light. But it doesnt work that way ? Guess i should just measure out 26.5 ft. I dont ever remeber having this much difficulty when i ran a stepdeck with the last company i was with. Just another reason why flatbeds are way better
