    @$@%@!

    I dislike people.

Got a call from our agent. Sellers had accepted our offer and their agent had gone over to have them sign the documents. They backed out before they signed, so they could counter a cash offer that had come in after ours.

"They'll re-accept yours if the other buyer doesn't like their counter offer"

No. F-'em. Take ours off the table we'll look for something else. Not gonna play games like this.

Simple green in a weed sprayer and garden hose is all that's needed to clean one. If your units are close you need to disassemble. Century and Columbia come to mind with that issue.

Your 100% correct. If they do come back, I'd lower my offer 10k. But I'm a prick.

    Sorry buddy.

So 2 bits of good news. Can start chemo on the 10th. Plus all my belongings will be delivered today by FedEx. Stevens actually paid for the shipment. With no cost to me.

That sucks. That is the market these days though. Between black Rock and vanguard buying up all they can in cash, the average guy doesn't stand a chance. I know around here the realtors work hand in hand with them. They call them before the house even goes on the market. The minute it does, bam cash offer. It's easy for the realtor, they don't even have to show the house or stick a sign out front and it's sold. Easy money.....and it sucks.

    Yep.

Our agent was pretty heated when she called us to tell us the bad news. She thinks there's more to the story...that the sellers agent may have had a hand in their last second change of mind. My problem is I still have the audacity to have some integrity and treat my word as good as gold. I agree to a good deal and I'm going to stick with it because I'm not in the business of wasting people's time, and I forget that a lot of other humans don't operate that way anymore.

Oh well, is what is. Sometimes we like to look at things from the standpoint of if it was meant to be it will be.

We're going to look at another place this afternoon. Gonna keep at it until we get something or run out of potential buys.

I'm not disagreeing with you, but that is the way the world seems to work these days. It's hard for an honest guy to get ahead. People are strange when it come to money, especially large sums of such. You'll find something. We went through the same exact thing. One example that made me suspect: we looked at a farm that was on the market for the better part of the year. Which is crazy here if that tells you anything. It needed alot of work, definitely not move in ready. They didn't receive a single offer in that time span....not one. We looked at it and put a reasonable offer in. Then, about an hour later..... like magic, they got a cash offer in. Hmmmmm
