Update on blue bird. Sitting in the back of the shop for 4 weeks now hasnt moved. Waiting on insurance approval apparently. They are going to teardown the engine first and check that nothing has signs of running dry and that i dont need a rebuild. If everything checks out good, they will move on to the body work. They were supposed to start today.
