    Owls are very cool. Used to have a horned owl come sit in a tree in the yard. Think it hunted the field behind us.

    Some NEWER equipment... The old stuff didnt have that. But much of the new stuff does now days, I've ran a Mini Excavator that had that... It was nice.

    Yes it is possible to switch to electric. But yes, mechanical fuel pumps are tied directly to RPM... They operate off a lobe on the cam shaft... Mechanical fuel pumps on racing vehicles didnt tend to last long... Extremely high rpm was not to kind to them.

    Ive got a pair of barn owls that live somewhere near my house... Can hear thier wings occasionally at night when I go out to smoke.

    Had a pair at my old house too... They where a pretty good aim. More than once I found half eaten rabbits dead center in the burn barrels. I thought maybe my wife was picking them up and throwing them away... But she says she never even seen any dead rabbits, and I never saw any either... other than in the burn barrels
