    Ft Pierce is the furthest north inlet in FL on the Atlantic side before the Gulfstream starts veering away from the mainland. There aren't a lot of jobs in the area, at least historically.

    Many spend more on their offshore boat than they do on their mobile home. If you love to fish, you will be in heaven there. Gulfstream is like 10 miles offshore. The dolphin (mahi) run begins in late March, it's the best time of year.

    If you land a good paying job in this area, you won the lottery if you love to fish.
