I agreed to a Load at my delivery point, going to PA. No ratecon yet. Hoping it was just a bad dream.

Firewood is great stuff for sure! equals some manual labor involved in trying not to burn the outfit down! can be a challenge.
Today, going to clean my Flu or stovepipe or whatever ya all want to call it ok?
This brick baby I'm working on likes to clog up with creosote. Long climb to the top so I figured out a way to clean my flu pipe from the bottom.
Went and bought myself a snake for cleaning out a plugged surage system. Just insert the ball end into the cleanout at the bottom of the flu.
I have used this method for a no of yrs now.. Works really good for me.
Anyhow, $ 169.00 bucks for a half inch, 50' long flexible steel band with a handle.
Use to borrow one from my brother in law for yrs. but He never could hang on to nothin. Just sayin.......austinmike, Dale thompson, lovesthedrive and 6 others Thank this. -

What does firewood cost in Phoenix? I don't see Dave cutting his own so he'll be at the mercy of the locals.

Well I read the guide wrong. You're not supposed to fell a tree over 36" inches in diameter.
I thought it said it had to be at least 36".
So it knocks down this mega oak tree too when it went.
So, the ranger is there like 30 seconds later. He let us go, but said we couldn't keep the wood. We estimated 8 cord between the two trees.
We came back two days later and him and his buddies had cut up the whole works. Nothing but saw dust left.sealevel, kemosabi49, InTooDeep and 9 others Thank this. -
I've always been a fan of jobsite lumber scraps. It's 99% Doug Fir, and it works great, and guys are happy to get rid of it.sealevel, InTooDeep, homeskillet and 10 others Thank this.
