How many miles? I have them drop the pan and replace pick up tube o-rings on my trucks at 500K.

On Truck 2 what did they happen to find? Manifold cracked on oil pump.

the sad part is the dealers and manufacturers don’t have any sense of urgency….

It will get fixed when it gets fixed is how they look at it.

Sorry for the question but I really don't know, how does the 48 foot trailer exclude one from the 40 foot rule?
I'm guessing its less over hang over the tandems changing the weight distribution?

    cke Thanks this.

They're not exempt. The KPRA rule only applies to 53' trailers. When the feds increased the length of trailers allowed by STAA, they threw a bone to the states in the form of the KPRA regulations. It gave a little control back to the states of lengths they could control.

I have found it ironic that California, being a western state, had allowed 10 foot longer over all length than eastern states before STAA, now after STAA would be the tightest on KPRA.

I do scratch my head when I see a super sleeper in California. I thought the total limit is 75’?
