Out of Wilson, back to P&D at ODFL

    Well, Wilson finally wore out their welcome with me, I left them for much greener pastures doing LTL again, this time for Old Dominion out of the Olympia WA terminal. And I've been kicking myself for not coming to them sooner.

    Is P&D mainly local work? Home daily?

    Also, most of the LTL companies have Dock to Driver programs- once you’re finished with the program do they throw you to line haul or P&D?

    P&D is ALL local work, typically Mon-Fri, daytime hours (granted, "daytime" can mean anything between 4 am and noon start time, or thereabouts, depending on the company). Every company will be different as far as overtime, seniority, start times, bid equipment and/or routes, etc. And as far as what a company does with you after dock to driver programs, that may vary as well.

    My entire body is hurting these days and everything around me is a hazard and I am not even surprised when I turn around and find a nail in some part of my body.
