In 88 or 89 right after they opened someone committed suicide on the dock. You know drivers, everyone said he had a limit of 6 hours and they went over it. Never went back, never have sent a truck there. 30+ years later it seems they have the same attitude.

 

We have the same guards here at the paper mill , abrasive unapproachable just terrible.
There all running north of 300 so i buy em dunkers from kwik trip to stay on there good side.
Who would hire sour grapes like that anyways , id drop a email to the CEO of Albertsons.
Keep your chin up driver her ole man probably couldn't take it either.

Ok that honestly made me cringe inside to write but methinks thats how the conversation with the HR...it.....they.....creature thing went when someone objected to hireing that kind of karen. Gotta remimber even interviewing a karen is like juggleing live hand grenades with the pin pulled while you stand legs akimbo above a pit filled with starveing sharks and a bunch of bleeding porkchops glued to your jewels. And if you have a brandon or karen in your HR department multiply that by 50.

And before you cry racism or whatever on me...the above example is a play on an actual very very loud and one sided "conversation" i overheard at a shipper through an open window a year or so back while i was forced to wait in the drivers shack also known as the pig room by the lady behind the counter.

OK Driver , this is my third attempt to reply to you . I had to erase the first two because I was simply spewing out hatred for the woman that treated you so badly. You deserve an award for keeping your cool and not going ape**** on that woman.
These kinds of people need to be stopped. Her boss needs to know how bad she is. I think the reason there are so many like her is , when we get away from these offenders , we are so dam glad to be away we don't think of taking it any further . If every Trucker and or Trucking co. would file complaints on these disgusting employees, the management would have to address the problem , and these people would be stopped if for no other reason than knowing if they act like that they will lose their job.
Anyone with a brain is either too good to act like this or if not good do not want to get fired. I do know if these people are not brought out in the open, they will not stop. I think I may be on to something. They need to be brought out into the public eye , shown to all what they are really like. Possibly a site where people ( Truck Drivers or others abused by these people) can anonymously report them . I am going to think this through, I just know that Truck Drivers are in general and for the most part great people. This is something I know first hand. Nobody had to tell me , you have proved this to me , without ever saying a word , I have seen you in action , doing good things 24/7 , to save the 4 wheelers even that give you so much trouble. Drivers, you of all people deserve respect. Know that it is the ignorant little worthless people that do not show you the respect you deserve.
