Shuttling water in rural communities is nothing new. Having a fire hydrant is!

Except that part of Atlanta isn’t rural-especially with all the traffic going to/from the airport and with all the industrial parks in that area.

I don’t know of any place that has fire hydrants along the interstates .
At least this time the other idiot drivers didn’t block the shoulder preventing the fire trucks from being able to get to the scene.

a couple of weeks ago a dry bulk tanker managed to flip over on 285 and block all five lanes and the shoulder from median wall to guardrail .

the idiots in the backwash blocked the shoulder and the firemen had to walk the last 1/4 mile carrying their rescue equipment.

Turned out the driver was ok. But the Fire rescue didn’t know that till they got there .

been lots of Car-B-Ques on 285 lately

Tour bus catches on fire, shuts down I-285 for hours in Cobb

The dumb driver jumping out of the truck and leaving it still rolling where it collided with other vehicles is some third world stuff .

That driver panicked big time. I'd like to think I wouldn't have done what he did.

I think he was not even on the interstate

I think he was on the ramp or on the overpass and bailed out and his truck rolled down onto the interstate into the path of traffic

Some cities do-and accidents like this are the very reasons why.
    (California comes to mind)
Somehow or another the driver lost control of the truck and bailed, letting it roll down the on ramp into traffic.
I want to know how this is going to pan out with Georgia DPS/MCCD!

He might get one ticket .

Just like the guy that knocked down the bridge on 16

The cops refuse to release the name of the driver of the rig on 16 that hit the bridge .

I’m guessing it was a immigrant
And the liberal news media thought release information his name wouldn’t fit with their agenda . ?

In Georgia-they don’t believe in just one ticket for a F’up like this. They try to use the whole book!
