Second stop took two hours to unload nine pallets and my reload was a dead head to Laredo to live load stuff but when I got there I needed a pickup number which I did not have and my clock is shot being my 14 was caught up to me so I parked it for the day until they figure stuff out.

Well, gave me a pickup number faster than expected and Harvey said load has to pick up today, load of wire going to hill phoenix. Well I get back to the warehouse and the load hasn't even arrived yet, lol! Must be lost in Mexico somewhere....

I cannot understand why guys run in that crap unprepared, You know if it snows you're gonna need chains, carry them, chain up and continue working.

When I turned 65 I became more worried about having a heart attack dragging all of that around and under a truck and trailer in sub and near zero temps than I did about a trailer of dog foood getting to San Francisco.

It’s there for emergency use only. There’s nothing back there in that 53 foot space that’s so important that requires me at 65 years old to act like I’m 40.

Sounds like work to me. I’ll gladly pull off, wait it out, and take an unpaid day off if necessary.

but I don’t get out that way enough to worry about it too much.

I’m still copying your list for future reference… ;-)

If I don’t use any of it this winter, I’ll give it all to you. I won’t be needing any of it in South Florida starting next winter.
