I am so sorry to read that you might or will not contribute anymore to this forum. I have enjoyed reading your posts and you had always been a strong supporter of Abilene. I always thought about you when the wife and I passed the Wytheville, Va. yard in our 5th wheel. What a great disaster the Knight/Swift company has done to Abilene and all the dedicated employees that do and used to work there. Another great company will be put to rest. I hope that you continue to participate as you are one of the best reasons to read any posts here on the forum.

 

@JohnBoy … it might be worth sticking around just to share Knowledge with us. While I understand stepping away from this “Abilene” thread, to me, it’s always been a great source of knowledge and entertainment… beyond a Company Thread.

I ain't going nowhere.

 

Almost got sideswiped by a lady eating a hamburger with both her hands and trying to steer with her thighs.....was kind of funny though watching the way she was eating that burger.

 

LOL ....

 

Darn, going to miss having curtains in my front windows in this new freightliner, along with the table and benches in my old volvo. Smaller storage too. Oh , well, new truck though.

 

I think I woulda asked 'em if they had any old KWs or team Volvos. I dread the day they sell this one out from under me. Hopefully we'll have swung back around to buying KWs again before that happens.

 

Probably not going to happen with the new regime at the helm.
