Finally the driver shortage is over

I don't think thus article says anything revolutionary. The author is only echoing what others have said in a million and one articles, written about the same topic before. It was some moments of lazy thinking in the article. He says 640,000 people in California have CDLs but there are 140,000 trucking jobs in California. I am guessing he don't realize people get flown to whichever job they sign up for if it's an OTR gig. I don't really understand the poor working conditions logic.... it's work. I'm not sure what drivers expect. The author's research involved getting someone who gripes about the industry, what about someone who sees trucking as a good career? Maybe that's why people shy away from it, the gripers and complainers have too big of a platform...
