First time driving through Colorado

Smooth boring empty quiet ride. You can meditate and think about life while driving there (only if you catch the good weather lol)

 

make sure you have chains available. Because if you don’t have them in your truck in case they pull you over then it’s a big big problem.

 

Big climb up and down Eisenhower. If you’re heavy, watch your speed. After a little ways pass Vale it’s just another drive.

 

No worries mate! There’s plenty of runaway truck ramps in case you screw it up!

 

I don't miss running those lanes. Did it too many times with Swift. I am so spoiled running the lanes with Danny Herman! IMHO......some of the best lanes in the industry!

 

You got my curiosity. What are those lanes?

I really liked running out west when I was OTR. I had good luck with the winter weather too, until my last winter OTR. I spent half that #### winter chaining up. Lol

Before that I’d only ever had to chain up one time. I guess that was the mountains out west great send off for me. Lol
