Cause of Series 60 DDEC-V EGR Cooler Failure??

    Are there any common causes for a 2006 Detroit Series 60 DDEC-V to have an EGR Cooler failure? Just replaced its EGR cooler and want to ensure not over-looking any common causes that need to be checked prior to getting this one back on the interstate. THANK YOU

    Hello Willis and THANK YOU for your reply. It indeed was original. The *#$@* emissions crap sure is sad and costly.

    How long do they typically last. So terrible the EPA mandates such stuff. THANK YOU AGAIN
