Oh, I just got asked! Does she have to be a truck driver to join this website? Of course, I said CDLs required! That there was a test as a part of the registration process.

My baby sister had 2 screw ups in her youth, nothing since she was 16 years old. First time she was plowing snow with the loader, and hit Papa's shop. There was a lot of yelling and screaming that day. He could string 60 curse words together better than anyone else I ever heard.
So a couple years later when she hit the ditch in the pickup, I was pleasantly surprised how calm papa remained.

After reading the responses from a few people on this forum, if there was a skill testing question to get in, and it was as simple as 22+19=__
They wouldn't have been allowed in lol

@homeskillet I have not eaten a donut in 10 years, don't like them.

I move a lot of feller bunchers, processors, skidders, bulldozers, button tops, yarders, and wheel loaders, so they are the first equipment that comes to mind. I rather enjoy moving a yarder. As the crew takes it apart, I keep moving another piece. Once I get it all hauled to the new show, like a giant Lego machine, it gets reassembled. Don't know why it fascinates me so much, but it does.

More women in here would be so wonderful.

The test drive went okay, from Pre-Trip to Drop Trailer was about two hours.

I haven't driven hazmat in over 10 years, but I did the correct RR crossing stop at the first one, but accidentally blew right through the second one.

I thought that was gonna be it......

"Don't worry", he says, "we'll get that one on the way back".

I didn't miss any more of them.....

So, now I gotta wait for some more big corporate gears to turn. They're doing the background check next.

Thanks all for the good vibes.

It's the same stuff I do every day, I just get nervous when I gotta do it "for score".

Anyway, off to bed. Gotta leave the house by 3-ish tomorrow morning.

The only things I know about logging I learned from watching "Axe Men", which is probably a lot like learning about trucking by watching "Ice Road Truckers".

I did enjoy the shots of the equipment in action, though.

Yes, more good trucking women on the site would be wonderful.

    I particularly miss @Rocks

    Not a fan.
    Don't much like sweet foods.
I like vegetables, meat, bread, eggs, cereal, that sort of thing.
But do like icecream, potato chips, and popcorn.
Have a serious addiction to carrots, take a bag with me daily when driving, my snack of choice. When I run out, I pull up to a grocery store, and run inside to buy more.
