We Haul allot of Super Train loads around Michigan and find that when the weather gets in the lower temps our bulk loads a manure/gypsum etc. will freeze up in the trains. Any trade tips on things we could use to help with this issue. Appreciate it.

Note: Brine was mentioned as a method but will not work in all cases

Load dry as possible and if you own the trailers mount a bracket on each hopper and use a vibrator such as a vibco 55-3 or a 55-2. It will help a bunch with the gypsum if it is dry but only a drier product will help with a manure load.
If you are running end dumps mount the vibco near the back in the middle.
My CV last job had a dry bulk division, grain ,fertilizer, salt, sodium sulfate among other products. We used vibcos on all trailers.

If you are running hoppers a 12 or 15 inch square 3/8 thick or better with angle brackets welded to allow you to slide the Vibco onto each hopper.
Weld the plates to each hopper about 8 inches up from the bottom and plumb a air line fitting close to center between the brackets and use a 1/4 turn valve to regulate the speed of the unit.

If possible unload the same day you load . A truck parked in yard a day or two is frozen most times.

As long as your not running feed we used to cut the release stuff with 911 power service, 35 ton frozen in the double plastic, double sprayed trailer in st ambrose Quebec in winter taught me that one.
