Would appreciate any info on how to get into bull hauling...are there companies that will hire company drivers to haul livestock or is it mostly an owner/operator thing? Have 2 years OTR experience. Love the trucking but would really like to get into the bull hauling business. I hear that is where the $ is at. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I have known a few, they are crazy.

Let me ask you this, Eastern Montana highway 212, halfway through the Crow Reservation, you have a broke truck, a wagon full of bulls, and no cell phone service, can you handle yourself in this situation?

If you don't mind running out west, maybe phone up L W Miller out of Logan, UT? They usually run pigs and cows and have co. drivers in that line of work.

    Rockytop14705 Thanks this.

Attention DSHAW1965: You mentioned "steering wheel holder". What do you consider a "steering wheel holder"? Are you referring to a driver that only has 3 years experience as a steering wheel holder? Not all of us were born knowing how to drive a truck...we had to start somewhere. The info I asked for was if anyone had info on bull hauling not your definition of a truck driver, but thanks for your comment.

To everyone else, thanks for the information. And in answer to my location, I am out of North Florida (panhandle).

What makes me a steering wheel holder? Is it the fact that I only have two years experience? Were you an experienced driver when you first got your CDL? Not everyone was born with a steering wheel up their ### like you must have been. You were born with the experience, right?
