I don't want a new truck at all. The thing I worry about is the weight. When things slow down again, it's hard to compete with the guys who can haul 50k and I can only haul 47k. Honestly, that's the only real big issue that makes me pause and think. It just sucks every time I call a broker and the very first words out of my mouth are "can you cut that back to 47k"? Quickly followed by "you think you can go up another $400 on the rate....I can't do it for that"......lol.

Its crazy the stuff you find out about family after they pass. I knew my grandpa spent a few years with the volunteer fire department. Had no idea he was actually fire chief and a founding member of the fire hall. Crazy thing is we were relatively close when I was growing up, probably visited their house several times a month. Got harder when I moved 16 hours away though.

I did something similar years ago when my grandma passed. I love old pics. I have boxes of that stuff still and a bunch of old slides that I need to convert one day. Honestly, everything just looked way better in black and white.

On another note. I had to chain up going over 4th of July last night. Made me think of you.....lol.

I actually seen a heater for a trans today at this place I was at. First time I've seen that. Guy said stay away, because when they go out, you get a trans full of coolant...lol.

Allright @AModelCat, I was at costco a bit ago and seen this. I gave the manager an earful. I said it was cultural appropriation. I told him that he had no idea how hard Canadian elves had to work to get that stuff. He wasn't impressed any. I said the ACLU would be in touch.

Had 6ft of snow in the driveway. Broke out the dozer and the rotary. Not cool.
