A better way is to have her do the shopping. ;)

Back in my day I had to make do with one 12’ on each side. That meant taking a measurement from the dog bone to the center of the tracks, usually around 11’6” give or take, to position the boards before I loaded the hoe.

    Aw, c'mon.

Don't want to spend extra money on more trailer, more axles, more tires, more brakes, more maintenance but not more bucks?

HAVE YOU NO SENSE OF ADVENTURE?

I had not thought of it. But the original Lethal Weapon has my vote for a Christmas movie to.

    Yeah.
The future is so uncertain in every way imaginable right now, I just don't know the right move. Plus this regime is actively trying to get rid of everything that uses fuel. Now with what the epa did this week. I just don't know how much of a future there is in trucking.....as we know it anyways.

I've found that I've become much less adventurous lately....lol. honestly though, if I were going to haul regionally, a quad trailer would be the way to go, then toss an axle back on mine. It definitely opens alot of doors in our neck of the woods....no doubt there. I've actually had a few businesses and people approach me here about that very issue.

You're not the only one ridin in a tippy canoe, sometimes the best thing to do is just let the pot simmer. We have a saying up here in the north woods, don't like the weather, well, just wait 5 minutes...

Yeah, just sucks trying to plan ones future, both personally and in business. I'm gonna give it until spring and see what transpires in this #### show.....go from there. I can't wait forever.
