Idk, but electric came before combustion. The steamers were really interesting.

Ironically the electric motor was the electric car's downfall. Once someone realized you could use an electric motor to start a gasoline engine the writing was on the wall for the next 100 years or so.

They are, one can still obtain small steam engines, I think. Not sure about now, but back in the early '70's there was quite a following of small steam powered boats. One company was Reliable Steam Engines, out of New Baltimore, MI.

Except for china, russia & india of course, once "evil" oil & gas use is finally eliminated here, the envirowackos will move on eliminating wood & coal use too, FJB....

Parked my rig last night at home and taking the next week off to spend the holidays with my family. Made some good money this week hauling pretty heavy between Dallas/San Antonio/Houston. I was able to put together a group of loads that paid $5.62 per mile for all miles so I feel like I did pretty good.

To all of my fellow TTR drivers and their families and everyone who supports our industry that helps make all of this possible,

Merry Christmas to you and your families.
