Wait… so we’ve gone from getting home a couple days early and it’s happened a few times to ten???

    I guess I missed a few posts.

Obviously I’m not expecting to be paid for requested time off. I have missed the equivalent of 4 weeks work via extra days in/out of my house, and on 4 occasions I received no check because of the excess. I asked to be home the 24th of Dec. back out two days later. They got me home on the 21st. That’s 3 days of lost productivity. It has happened every time off.

It’s quite obvious that no matter what anyone says, the poster will just continue to expound on his dissatisfaction with the extra days off. To which all should reply- Deal with it or find a new company who run more in the lanes where you live. IT’S TRUCKING, not a 9-5, M-F job.

Here’s a thought, why don’t you volunteer to sit in operations for a few days around a major holiday week, and see what’s it’s like orchestrated getting 400+ trucks home for the holidays, or any weekend for that matter. It’s not easy, and I know FCC goes above and beyond to do their best. I’d rather be home early for my requested home time than late.

Thanks Jason for your 2 cents. Unfortunately it was not isolated to the holiday. You all just keep on with what you are doing. Companies need sheep.

So here’s my fun… the town cable service where my 84 year old mother is dropping their cable or something. So the little retirement area where she lives is switching from “providing cable” to “providing internet” and had a meeting to discuss “how to stream” programming after the loss of cable service.

    this should be fun… lol

I was running from Atlanta to Joliet and was going to stop for a quick visit which turned into training session on streaming apps.

FCC was awesome in letting me take a last minute day off on my way by.

Unfortunately the Apple TV I had on the Truck, seems to have a failing Wi-Fi radio on it so I guess I’ll be buying her another one instead.

fun helping elderly parents with new concepts like switching from cable to streaming.

May God help MY kids… lol

Now you better help your mom with the streaming service. I am sure she helped you out in life.
Moms do a lot for us.
