Looking for help here, as I'm at my wits end with this truck.

The other night, I parked and idled for about an hour. After turning the truck off, I noticed a huge oil slick that apprears to be coming from the Crankcase Breather on the side of the motor.

Would this be a gasket or the crankcase itself going bad? Thanks in advance!

Replace the whole unit. Very common repair. Save your wits end for when you need it.....

Agreed ^^^. Just needs to be replaced. I did mine about 750k and it was a few hundred if I remember right. No problems since.

Also, don't try to clean it as some people say. There are Youtube vids on this but it doesn't work for long. You'll have to replace it all sooner or later.

Like Quality said just replace it. Has the spinner ever been replaced? They don't last forever.

It's weird, it doesn't leak all the time, and when it does doesn't seem to happen at the same time. Sometimes it's a few minutes after I fire the truck up, other times, it's 20 minutes, sometimes, it doesn't leak at all. It's definitely coming out of the valve, but this doesn't make sense to me.

these #### spinners get stuck inside and this is what happens most of the time they will leak during regen, just replace breather and gasket and it should be good.
