    Need some help with getting wiring diagrams or some help with identifying some plugs behind the dash and there purpose for my 97 ford l8000 had Cummins 8.3 in it.

    I would imagine the plugs are for switches or instruments that your truck wasn’t built with. I had 3 L9000s that were pretty much identical except for the near naked dash in the one. It had the same harness in it that the 2 with full instrumentation and accessory switching had. Just plugs hanging loose in the dash. As for diagrams I don’t know. Try Freightliner, they should have all the Ford stuff. In the 90s there were parts in the electrical system of new Freightliners and Western Stars that would fit an 80s Louisville
