    Was reading an article on buying into some of these franchise places. If you wanted a McD’s store, you would need 10 million dollars in cash and financing to maybe get one.

    McDonald's would be way too much hassle for this old man. You'd need a lot of workers. And there's a lot of exposure for that kind of investment.

    I think papa probably wants people with restaurant background as well.

    All right. Paid the gendarmes in Radford once to fly fast thru their town. Sent youngest daughters to Washington and Lee law school in Lex, VA.
    Her hubby is a licensed pharmacist. SO... If I could get some stock, could get in the drug business and really prosper...My own druggist and lawyer.
