Possible Suicide By Truck Via Overpass

Yikes i feel for that driver. He is going to be tramatized over this most likely. I hope he has health insurance as well. If he was an O/O without that would be a double kick in the nuts. Some ####### smashed up your rig and you then your slapped with tens or hundreds of thousands in medical bills and downtime.

The ####### who jumped though is one hell of a selfish ####### though. There was a good chance this could have gone very badly for the driver likely even killed said driver or injured him badly enough he lost control into another vehicle injuring or killing all involved.

If your that intent on being dead then bloody grow a pair and get a gun then go deep into the woods where you wont harm or bother anyone and your corpse can at least feed some hungry critter so at least your useful to something rather then costing someone their livelyhood. I would normally feel sad someone thought the only way out was death and wished they got help before it came to that point. but in this case not so much

 

So selfish of the jumper. Like you stated take that crap out in the middle of woods where no body around and handle your business, prayers for the driver of the semi truck.

Anytime I see a person or car drive slowly on an overpass I get ready for evasive moves if possible,. Had one try it in downtown Dallas on 35 with police trying to get him down 2007-2008 ish , black man clinging to guard rail over right lane, I quickly moved to left lane. He did jump after I went by apparently, when I was coming back saw the white sheet and backup it created.

 

With the price of fuel who can afford to kill themselves by Carbon monoxide poisoning?

 

We need nationwide assisted suicide centers where people of sane mind can go to voluntarily end their lives in a dignified manner instead of jumping off bridges or shooting themselves.
