A lot of older trucks speedis read 120. I had a 120 in my Pete. But 100 was enough for me.
You can buy aftermarket speedos up to 160mph if not more. They have those on the shelf at 4 states.

The 85 Star that i drove yrs ago had a 3406B Cat, 15 over, 390`s and 24.5 rubber and the fastest I had her up to was 105 mph not kmh. She may have had more left to give but that was plenty fast enough for me.
