I’ve been happy since I’ve been here.

Do you have authority to run on or would you have to use theirs? I’m not using their authority so it’s 88% plus $185 a week rent for a dry van. I can’t recall off the top of my head what conestoga rent is. They do have a fuel card you can use but there’s not any discounts so you’re better off using Mudflap and buying your own fuel.
Evil_E Thanks this. -

I’m picking up a trailer loaded for Massillon OH after my reset is done. I know there’s a fair amount of freight that goes to the Columbus area and I’ve been to Cleveland with a flatbed before. I usually try and run out west so I can’t say for sure what it’s like going east, but I’ve been to IN and OH a few times.
Running your own authority you’ll get 88% unless you want to do 84% quick pay.
We have an app for our dispatch and load info. And as long as you’re comfortable using that and communicating mostly by email you’ll be fine. It can be tough getting someone on the phone once in a while and I know some people get frustrated by that. I just email 90% of the time and they get back to you quickly. -

The pay week is Sunday to Saturday. 88% is what you deliver and turn in by Saturday you get paid two weeks later (example turned in by Jan 22nd would get paid Feb 2. If you take 84% quick pay then whatever is turned in by Saturday you get paid the following Wednesday. And you can switch also. Right now I’m doing 84% because I was home for 2 months and just got a new truck. In a couple weeks I will email and switch back to 88%.

Tralo buys nice trailers. My Great Dane is an old Tralo trailer, and totally loaded for it's year. I get compliments on it often and it's 7 years old now.
Anyway, how's that for off topic?
