I believe on the raise, they are stalling as long as they can.
The reason being, this country seems on the verge of collapse.
    Outrageous inflation, huge stock market
fluctuations, down and up. If the stock market crashes, and we get involved in a war in russia, Biden not even having a clue as to even what day it is.
    Recession/Depression a real possibility.
Something is gonna have to give...Walmart is waiting it out, and if something terrible happens, then just say we can't give any raises based on what ever the disaster is.
Just my opinion. I don't think they have determined yet what the raise will be.
In all the years I have worked here, the raise always took effect February 1st, the first day of the fiscal year.
It's going to be interesting for sure to see what they are gonna do. Its gonna be interesting to see how the drivers react.
I hope Walmart learned from the 38 special fiasco, but I really don't have confidence that they did.

According to the recruiter,it's suppose to be the biggest in fleet history. That's pretty much all she knows about it.

I hope so. Since I've been around, annually it's only been 1 cpm, and .25 here and there on activity.
If they want to recruit EXPERIENCED drivers, it must be SUBSTANTIAL...

    truckdriver31 Thanks this.

Don't be surprised, cents a mile, and then they will want to take away activity and layover pay.
    Net effect zero raise.
