I went through Ft.Worth late Thursday night.Me and 3 other trucks took 287 all the way from I 45 to the north west side of Ft.Worth.We stayed 500 feet apart and drove 35-40 mph all the way.I thought about chaining up but there was no good place to pull over, the on-off ramps were really bad.
I just wanted to get past Ft.Worth and not wait for the morning traffic.
I have Michelin super single drives, winter rated, and we run to Canada and Alaska.
I wish I would have chained up just to say I chained up to get through DFW.Accidental Trucker, tlalokay, JoeyJunk and 1 other person Thank this. -

I've never had a week like last week
Monday did a local load and then bobtailed out of Chicago just ahead of the storm to Detroit the weather caught me on my 10, bobtailed another hr in the crap tue morning
Then it was toledo, Cleveland and down to Louisville. Every day was horse poop.
Louisville was a drop, because they shut the plant down from the ice storm. Friday I bobtailed back to Chicago. I've drove in plenty of winter storms but never every day of the weekbentstrider83, bzinger and abyliks Thank this. -
Sure glad I did the night run. It was still a bit hairy, especially leaving Fort Worth. Nothing but ice on the road. I can't imagine what that all looked like come rush hour.bentstrider83 and North Pole Nightmare Thank this. -
