Understand. Been there. One of my first projects was to take a hand stuff line to a two side pick and place. Extra small budget, minimal space and wanted it done yesterday. Then they furloughed me for 3 months. When I was brought back, they put me on a cell manufacturing project. Six months in and I was the only one standing, everyone else moved on to other projects or employers. Mostly the latter. I finished the project. Ended up being a white paper for one of the equipment suppliers. Furloughed again. Brought back again, knocked a quick automated line out, and yep furloughed again. During the furloughed time, was running the straight truck. The company called and wanted me back for another project. Looked at the proposal and preliminaries. Could see that they wanted me to be the PM, but not pay me for the position. Said NO. Went trucking full time.

Here would be my pick/ 1st class equipment, plus the fact you are pulling a tanker. Needless to say, I am partial to pulling a tank.

    Are you tied to Houston?
Understand you have the history there.
What type of trucking are you interested in?

Nothing tying me anywhere. My folks live in GA, and I'm recently divorced with no kids.

I'm not sure what I should be interested in TBH. I like the idea of the long-haul driving, but I don't know precisely what sort makes for a good life.

    Coffey Thanks this.

Probably have much less stress with Melton Truck Lines. 48 states running and the shippers & receivers are easy to deal with compared to refrigerated trucking shippers & receivers.
Tidewater Transit, tankers. is also good with excellent shippers & receivers. You won't run 48 states though.

    Coffey Thanks this.
