I've never read Yelp reviews on anything.
Probably would if wanting to do some expensive work on my home, but that's about it.

I poked around a little bit, and don't companies like Intelliapp make this a lot easier? It seems like a ton of drivers are on their platform for recruiting.

Intelliapp/Tenstreet/Driver Pulse makes it easier to submit an application since it stores all your info and you just need to touch it up when you change employers after you've filled it out the first time. They flunked the screening and sorting section of their CS class though. I can select no team driving and no reefer and still have to look at ads for CR England in my search results. It's also not a smart search - It shows a 40 year veteran the same listings as a CLP holder. You can confess your sins (tickets/accidents/incidents), but you still see the same results as everyone else. It doesn't have the logic built in to say, "This driver has two DUI's so I'll just eliminate the employers who don't hire drivers with two DUI's from the search results for this driver".

The Intelliapp search has <10% of the ads that Indeed does. I suspect that's because they charge a small fortune for advertisers to use their applications. The advertisers also tend to skew mostly to the bottom feeder OTR companies

It would also be nice to show the, "costs" of screening choices. If you select no team driving it will show you how many ads that choice cut from your search results. It could work the same way for employers. If they want driver facing cameras it will show them how many drivers blocked their ad based on that choice.

Really helpful. Thank you. Have you tried DriverReach? Looks like they're trying to compete with Tenstreet: CDL Truck Driver Applicant Tracking, CRM & Employment Verification. They just raised a bunch of money.

It seems like the simplest way to address the pain point is to put together something simple, where advertisers would be required to populate these details. I would have to build it and give it to advertisers for free to start to get enough jobs posted. And then I can just hustle to get it in the hands of drivers.

Yes,if the locationserves retail customers and ships/receives freight 99% of the reviews on Google will be from consumers.

I just want a Yelp search/filter for restaurants with Truck Parking or within Walking distance from a Truck Stop.

    LifeguardNational14 Thanks this.
