If I would be an English speaking European lorry driver intending to drive in Canada and USA,
I would contact a recruiter by e-mail asking for help to sign a contract with the company.
They may have a recruiter overseas.
I don't work, support, associate or benefit in anyway from this carrier.
    TransX Ltd.
    Benefits:
They are owned by CN, which is an interesting contradiction in itself.
They operate new or fairly new equipment. Both tractors and trailers.
Peterbilt 579 sleepers with Bendix Wingman safety package and Carrier APU.
Utility trailers dry vans or reefers with Thermo King reefer units.
Terminals with repair shops that fix most equipment minor issues.
A central Call Center to process all On the road breakdowns and occurrences.
Modern terminals with well maintained Driver lounges.
Premium Customers both in Canada and USA.
Consistent freight volumes except on produce lanes from California in the summer months.
No touch freight on most truckload lanes in both Canada and USA.
Long haul CAN-USA is between 1200 to 2400 miles trips which are rated at cpm + various bonuses all added to other paid work. Typical gross revenue 70K-80k year.
Compared with food service carriers (MB, GFS, Sysco) who can generate 110k-120k year.
Revenue is higher in Eastern Canada compared to Western Canada.
So is the cost of living and taxation level. Except Vancouver. That's off the charts.
That's like a glitch in the Matrix kind of event.
    Cons:
Still insisting to get all their employees vaccinated.
So is the USA government who prohibits unvaccinated drivers to cross their border.
Safety departments keep a close grip on their drivers, everything is monitored.
The pay package is middle of the road, at best.
There are other companies that they may hire European lorry drivers.
If any other poster can contribute with more info, feel free to jump in.

Assume living alone without dependents the Federal tax is the same across Canada.
Around 20%. The provincial taxes vary across different provinces Quebec is the highest.
Alberta is the lowest at 10%-11%.
Generally, as a company driver making 75k gross working 50 weeks a year and taking 2 weeks OFF as a paid vacation you can expect to clear around 50k on average + vacation pay.
Out of he 25k paid in taxes you may be refunded around 5-7k back.
Some are making more by 10k gross due to seniority.

BC and onterrible are lower than Alberta. My company deducts according to Ontario's rate, but I live in Alberta. This means I get a pitiful refund.
