How do I reach my goal of owning a truck?
I have been a company driver for over 10 years now, I have miles of OTR and local driving experience. I like to drive and be out for 3 months to 4 months and be home for 5 days. I don’t have lots of $$$$$ to buy a truck or get a loan at a bank or credit union. The truck type I want is 2020 and newer for the year. Makes Freightliner, MACK, Kenworth and Peterbilt. I do not want to worry about maintenance until the truck is paid off and I own it.
What direction should I be looking in to reach my goal. I don’t care if it takes 5 years to own a truck.

There is no truck or piece of equipment that you don't have to worry about maintenance on. Doesn't matter if it's 20 days old or 20. Years old. They all require maintenance. If you are deadset on doing a lease purchase and you have 2 years of flatbed/stepdeck experience, dsv out of Missoula MT has a decent lease purchase program. If you are interested send me a message and I can get your foot in the door with them.

As with anything at the end of a lease you either have to buy that now used truck or you’re left with nothing to trade in.

Right, some companies have a balloon payment at the end of the lease.
Some have a $1.00 buyout.; John Christner is one of those.
Greatwide, there is no buyout because the truck and loan is in the drivers name.
Hurricane Express has a $600 buyout.
