Please I need your advice. Should I clean my DPF![]()
or replace it. The mechanic is telling me that it is shifted so it needs to be replaced. Total price for $3300.

Has it been cleaned? How many miles are on it? I thought the general rule of thumb was clean once then replace. My last truck I cleaned it at 240k and replaced it at around 500k.

its almost 600K miles

If you have 600k on it and it’s never been cleaned or anything you’re better off replacing it. It’s way past due.

Get rid of it altogether and you'll never will have to take truck to shop with emission peiblems
