    Please I need your advice. Should I clean my DPF image001 (2).jpg image002.jpg or replace it. The mechanic is telling me that it is shifted so it needs to be replaced. Total price for $3300.

    Has it been cleaned? How many miles are on it? I thought the general rule of thumb was clean once then replace. My last truck I cleaned it at 240k and replaced it at around 500k.

    I’m not sure about that damage. It might make it not be able to seal up.

    If you have 600k on it and it’s never been cleaned or anything you’re better off replacing it. It’s way past due.
