Did you also get someone set up as your CTP/A? If you haven't, your consortium will know what to do. For cost ballpark...my consortium does it for free. Don't let them screw you.

 

i think it is them who handle all that. i signed up with them for random testing. then registered them under my ctp/a in the clearinghouse. is that what you are talking about ? i cant remember the exact price but i paid for pre employment testing and for them to enroll me in their random testing. the only thing i didnt do was have them run a query on me because they charged like 8 dollars for it and it was only less than 2 dollars for me to do it myself. just had to approve my company to pull my information about myself. which made me laugh at how dumb that whole process was

But on the query - I did my own the first year too. But the way it's supposed to work is you log in and pay for the query, and then give access to it to the consortium. Then they pull the actual query. From what mine explained to me this year, they aren't allowed to pay for it, and you aren't allowed to pull it. You pay, and they pull.

 

good to know! there is so many dumb things we have to do. i bet the government is making a mint off of that 1.75 they charge for their query coins or whatever the hell they are called

 

I didn't even know about it until this time around. My consortium asked me to pay for a query and grant them access, and I'm like, WTF are you talking about? I thought that was all on me.

 

You gotta start parking it better areas. How do those wooden tire climb the ramps? Or are they crane loaded?

us drivers hopefully carry enough blocks to unload them without smacking the undercarriage

 

I meant the insurance difference, since you don't have to pay the Primary supposedly as a Lease although I'm sure they charge something. Well sounds like you know what you need to do not to accumulate debt. When I first looked into it, I had to make house payments so leasing was the last thing on my mind at the time let alone getting my own authority. But I've been studying it..like I said, I'm frugal about outlays without studying for a long time so I'm as well prepared as I can be.
