Yes the alignment in this truck is off too. And the hood shakes no matter how hard I slam it. That hood latch is the dumbest thing on earth. The Pinnacle and vision are fairly similar, and the quality of the cxu I run is far superior to the Anthem. It's still built like a work truck, works like one too. And looks good lol

Although as far as anything more recent, I’m definitely narrowing things down to either a Pinnacle running an MP8 and a KW. I’d just hate to have to bite down on the price for the KW lol
I’ve considered taking some classes in diesel mechanics as well, idk seems like a wise thing to do.RubyEagle Thanks this. -

The hood rattles? On a Mack?
By golly, some things never change, the Rrrr Model I drove shook so bad, it would pop out of gear. I had a tarp strap holding it in direct. It's why I wear a back brace today. I've seen Mack hoods that were razor thin by the cowl. It's the curse of any conventional, the hood.
W923, pathfinder1361 and RubyEagle Thank this. -
Looks like an R model with an updated hood/fenders. Were there any improvements to dash/interior/frame? -
RubyEagle and Brettj3876 Thank this.

I will add to that, my day cab anthem allows me to haul 25.25 at 80K, and close to 30 tons with our overweight permit. That is a positive for me because a lot of what I do is tonnage based. If you end up with a new mack, take the time to figure out all of the rattles, I’m 2 months in to this one, picked it up with 57 miles on it and now have 14,000, and I’ve about got all the rattles quieted down……for now
