Is this how they came up with "That leg of the trip was really rough..." ?

In all seriousness though, that sucks.

The trucker just pulled over to the shoulder and got out of the truck and that’s living dangerous these days. Especially the Texas freeways.

I mean... did the SUV sever the leg, or did the semi truck sever the leg? Because if the truck did it, he was involved in the accident.

    Coffey Thanks this.

From how I understood the article the truck picked it up as part of the crash debris as it passed.

I could be wrong though, wouldn't be the first time.

The truck got a leg up on the suv.

    :)

I wonder if an arm was lost to.

Cost him an arm and a leg if so.

"Just one more leg to go, and I'm home!"

We now have new song lyrics...

:Leg it be....just leg it be... - For the Beatle fans out there..

Leg it go...leg it goooooooooo! - For the Frozen fans out there. It's ok, we won't judge you.

He had legs...he knew how to use them... - ZZ Top

Gives new meaning to Stocking stuffer..

Someone got carried away with the whole "just pulling your leg!" thing...

Yes, I know..there is a special spot in a night club on a stage for me in hell.

    ;)

I really should cut these leg jokes off before it gets out of hand.

Good thing it was his leg. Otherwise the trucker could have been charged with arm robbery. :p

Jeremy got out to tighten a strap on a dumpster. We just had Jeremy’s funeral. One of our co workers passed the accident after it happened and took this pic. They were just covering him with a sheet. He was a child hood friend and ex employee of my co workers uncle who owned a refuse company that he had sold to Republic. Jeremy stayed on with Republic after the sale. My co worker had no clue who it was until later that day.

The messed up thing about the whole situation is they don’t have a definite on the suv that hit him. Some witness statements say it was a white suv others say black. The white one stopped at the scene and apparently for whatever reasons they are not filing any charges against any of the drivers.

This is the first we’ve heard of an 18 wheeler. They thought the leg my have been carried by the suv that fled the scene after impact. When it was found we figured it finally fell off on its way to Houston to hide out.
