I would not have almost 3 million miles safe if I didn't hit my brakes and or move over to avoid an accident.

I'm in the same camp as Opus. I feel for you. But your video is 100% going to get you hung, not acquitted.

A jury trial is going to run you maybe $20K or more.

If you really plan on doing that, I'd take down that video.

First question the guy is going to ask is," Did you have to change lanes at that very moment? "

    Then your done.

no one’s going to jury, my ticket will be handled with a lawyer. As for this video it’s going to the insurance company to deal with it. I will discuss with an attorney to see if I’m not at fault. I will take results and face the consequences. I just don’t want to be railroaded if law is on my side.

Ask yourself objectively then," Did I need to change lanes right then?"

Dunno what to tell you. The crux is did you need to change lanes.

I hope you get off. But IMO you won't.

Your camera clearly shows you in the other lane.

After the impact it clearly shows the other truck is completely in their lane.

Your insurance company, or anyone else that actually looks at the position of the trucks in relation to the roadway is going to come to the conclusion that you left your lane and got hit.

I appreciate the feedback and candid answers. At this point all I can do is explain my situation and events to my insurance. My truck is covered no matter what and I’ll get through it. I’m just greatful to god the steer blowout cased down the road from this accident didn’t take my life.

I guess I’m just a bit pissed because I’m going to be down for a while And I hate that.

those clips right there shows you had plenty of room to avoid the collision if your would’ve taking “Defensive” action and moved to the right to avoid it all. Just saying…..

Well - as an owner, I'm still siding with @LoneRanger - I know the interchange well, and can see the situation going down as it did.

He's in Amarillo and in a world of hurt with a ton of problems to sort through.

Let us know how it goes bro.

If I remember that exit/entrance correctly, the right lane ends and right lane traffic has to merge/yield to the left lane.
