Do you guys think 1500-1800 miles a week avg is acceptable when you're expected to stay away from home for 21-28 days at a time? Marten Transport out of Mondovi thinks it is. And they'll FIRE you for complaining about it, right after they smudge your DAC report.
Is 1500-1800 mi/wk acceptable?

Not acceptable in my book unless they pay you by the hour or pay you $1.00 per mile.
-
Nope, max 41 cpm. With 14 of it being per diem.
-
That is very unacceptable in my book, unless like peanut butter said, they are paying you a dollar a mile. Thats about all I can get in a week sometimes but I get paid pretty good so it all works out.

2,500 to 2,700 is "acceptable" for averages, you have to take the good with the bad.
I always get acouple months like this a year -
On a regular basis? Not a chance! Have some Marten drivers who came over during the worst of it last year... I see things haven't changed a lot. -
At 55cpm I may take that -$750-900 a week. -
So Marten Transport is the only trucking company with so-so mileages. Everyone else is doing 2700-3000 consistently, right?
