Hi,
if someone needs brand new trailers ASAP.
I have an option for the 2023 Wabash duraplate.
Some of them are with PSI some of them are with skirts
The price is $80000
Let me know I only have a few of them.
Best Regards

I signed up on waiting list (about 100) for a brand new Utility dry van about 2 weeks ago. That's in case someone drops off of the pending orders list ( the real waiting list). $62 000 per unit. I'd take it in a heartbeat if I could trade mine for at least $40 000 but somehow I feel that by the time I get a phone call, mine will be worth maybe $20 000, in which case, the decision will have to be reconsidered.

You gotta ask yourself, when was the last time someone advertised trailers for sale?
Good catch, @TallJoe .
Let the games begin.........86scotty, TallJoe and bumper Jack Thank this. -
In the meantime, I keep losing my Uber and Convoy bids on the local runs. For example, someone is taking a heavy arse water load from Pleasant Prairie, WI for less than $500 on multiple stops / + 100 miles.
They want you to go to Columbus for $1300 and $2000 was a norm 6 weeks back.
Chicago - Carlisle, PA is posted as low as $1900 - 2100. I was getting $4000 to do that. Damn, you go ahead buy that Wabash for $80 000 and pick that load up.Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
Average $4000 revenue on Chicago - Baltimore-Chicago loop. The backhauls are still holding up at $1500 level.
Doable? Not for everyone:
1450 miles/ fuel $1050/tolls $450
$2500 after fuel and tolls.
x4 = $10 000: so so it were only that....
$200 000 brand new Cascadia + $80 000 Wabash = $6000 loan installments
$ 1500 insurance
$ 300 - 500 IRP, Parking, PMs, 2290, Loadboards...and what not
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
$7800 - $8000
$10 000 - $7800 = $2200 of a monthly net: still not including the driver's pay at all.
Only sustainable at this level for no debt equipment and moderate insurance premiums.

$6000 monthly payment? Probably not many people getting a truck and trailer on a 5 year note without a single penny down. Even at that it’s not $6k a month.
But I agree, it will probably get ugly. That’s when flexibility is nice.Rideandrepair, Siinman, bumper Jack and 1 other person Thank this. -
I thought that 4k was the loan from before 2020 but then those trucks were like 160K and trailers 31K.Rideandrepair Thanks this. -

Two extra trips a month will give you 7200 a month instead of 2200.
