Some sort of blitz going on in Northern California also. Every jump scale and scale that’s usually not open, was open today with 2-3 commercial cops hanging out.

Sounds to me like they're really getting their money's worth out of this gawd awful system. I guess it's the Prepass trucks that I see bypassing the scales and not us lowly Drivewyze customers.

What's the point of a loves offering 24/7 roadside if their shop isn't actually 24/7?
Enroute to my final on this 2700 mile load when one of my drives decided to explode. Sounded like a huge explosion went off, and nearly gave me a heart attack. Pulled over to assess the damage and found a inner tire wobbly and flat. There was a loves just 5 miles further so decided to head in only to find the shop closed but their 24/7 sign still on. It was 240am when this happened and roadside gave me an eta for 530am for the next available tech.
Managed to get a parking spot right infront of the shop. Another driver pulled out while I was on the phone.
This throws my load off as well as mess with my next one.
Really hoping it's the tire and not the rim. Tire has good thread still and shows no damage on it at all. The explosion sound I heard is the same one given off when a rim pulls away from the tire.Last edited: Apr 21, 2022

No wonder I didn't see anything. Turns out the sidewall on the inside section of the two tires popped. Wad just a small hole but made quite a loud bang.
When I got to the customer they were understanding. Put me in a door immediately and only told me it will be just 20 - 30 minutes to get unloaded.
All warehouses should be like this. Probably helped that I'm literally the only truck here .
Place is Trident Seafood in Corrallton, GA. My next pickup is a 8pm live just 50 mile north of here that I will now only make by doing a split break.
Moving some Kelloggs from GA to their facility in North Dallas for another 8pm live unload.
Wonder if this is a Kellogg dedicated run they couldn't cover? I know they have one out of the Dallas facility I'm delivering too but that one just runs within a 400 mile radius of the warehouse.
Edit
Noticed they paid me $45 for a trailer washout last trip. Thing is I never did a washout nor have I sent in any receipts either. Don't know where that $45 came fromLast edited: Apr 21, 2022

Glad I checked with BH2.0 this afternoon. Usually, I get the RDO extend message at the 6th day before the requested date for home time. That would've been this morning, but I never got it. So I checked, and because I delivered so close to home, the system reset my days out, and I was set to return home in May. I knew that load was gonna be a problem from the start. He reset it to next week.
