Not one that has both colors in separate sections of the light. I am looking for a tail light, round or oval etc., does'nt matter, that is red in tail/marker mode, whole light, and then when turn signal is active, the whole light turns amber. Does such a light exist? If so, where can I look to find it?
Thanks.
LED red and amber in same tail light?

Dual evelontion.. is what your looking for .. I know they make them that are tail / reverse
Iam pretty sure I have seen them red/amber also..
In fact I was just searching alittle while ago for some 4" rounds to put in a set of mud flap hangers and I 'am.pretty sure I saw what your looking for.. it's mind boggling the different combinations they offer
I just reread your post .. I don't think your going to find 1 light that completely changes from red to amber the best your probably going to find is a light with maybe 2 circles of LEDS 1 circle with be red the other will be amber.. But each color should fully illuminate the lens to give you the look that you wantLast edited by a moderator: Apr 21, 2022

WOW, they answered the phone. TLED 4X40A is the light in question. The lady that answered I think is trained to only follow the DOT script. Though helpful, not much as far as getting tech info. For example, the ma draw is listed at 120, then in the "function" ma draw is listed at 270 for red, and 220 for amber. I "assume" (usually a very expensive mistake) That to mean 120/tail, 270/turn brake, and 220/amber.
So if I do not connect the stop/turn on the outer most lights, and instead connect the amber activate wire to stop/turn, then the turn signals would be amber, but lower wattage than the red stop/turns on the rest of the tails. I wish I could get 270 on the ambers, but............ -
