Man, that’s another PITA customer I do not miss…AB. To this day I refuse to buy or haul their products.

Shiner is the best beer facility I ever ran out of. All loads are live but no apt times. They go first come first served and never take more than an hour to have you loaded and out the door.

Only think is those loads usually are multi stops but last 2 I ran have been very long runs so don't mind it as much.

There was a brewery not far from Busch Gardens in FL, I think it use to be Strohs(it's Yuengling now). Not the fastest, but it was a driver assist, they put the pallets against the walls with a big space in between, the driver put a cardboard filler that folded out between the pallets and filled the void, then a couple straps in the back. You could almost lay the truck over and the load wouldn't shift. As a bulkhead, they would double the 1st pair, single out one pallet, then double, then single...but the same cardboard filler would fit beside the single and the walls. Really was a good system, just a lot of dunnage at the receiver end, but that helped the carriers because they would occasionally get a return trip bringing back all the palletized cardboard dunnage to the plant.

Working on hour number 5 at Pube-licks in Lakeland. Worst part is, I was empty in 40 min, the rest of the time is for sort and count...I only had half a page of Hershey's, mostly syrup and gum, guess there isn't enough lumpers to take off their shoes so they can count that high

*Update. After the 2nd time I went back in to check on when I would get my txt message with my fee...he said "ohhh, you're a Crete...your load was prepaid"...5.5 hours after my appointment I finally got my paperwork. Then there was a bad wreck in Ocala and traffic was backed up almost to the scales. So, I took the 2-lane all the way home

What company do you work for? Sounds like a nightmare of a job.
