Certainly wouldn’t get me to do it. 20’ off the ground in a scissor lift back in my construction and pipe wrenching days was quite enough.

I was an Oiler on a crane for a couple weeks when I got layed off in the shop. Operator was short, ####y and #### good. He said tower cranes are the worst because you're usually the only one on the job and the Boilermakers, Ironworkers, and Laborers all needed something 30 minutes ago.

Well this is a practice run, and been a few years now. But my pan fried chicken aint worth sheeeeet! Guess we need to practice more. Its something I want to be able to do well. Last class

was 34 or 33 years ago. Old Grandma Rita sure as heck could make fried chicken. They had to, couldn't afford anything else.

And rabbits were not for Easter and you sheet outside!

Crisco because my bacon fat storage was low. Spud was in olive oil.

May want to try peanut oil if not one is allergic to peanuts. Peanut oil will get much hotter then Crisco. Cook with a lid on it. Are you marinating your chicken in butter milk over night? Then double dipping in egg and flour before slowly placing in the hot oil? Don't over crowd your pan, it will drop the oil temp and make nasty chicken. Don't forget to season your flour. My tribe loves some Tony's seasoning in/on the chicken.
