I never had one scratch my air line, but I did have one of MD’s finest that I have a bit of a history with pull the “chaffed air line” card after thinking he could get me for a hazmat violation and couldn’t find one.

I appreciate it. If I do it, its gonna be in the next few weeks. I don't wanna hammer out tons of miles on my truck just for the sake of running to make $. So I might just park it and throw some parts at it and get it back to perfect.

I got an offer to yank around a van because the rates were awesome. 7-8k a week, week over week. Well as soon as I start running, boom rates are dropping with fuel going up and here we are lol.

I hear that man. I'm going thru the same thing. Dsv has the freight. if you bring your truck, it will be a bit easier for you instead of a L/P. They got work in every part of the country and good money. And you can also work off the truckstop loadboard as well if you just wanna do ur own thing. It's really hard to fail there if you get a good in. Which isn't hard to do.

They are there to help make their state money. That's about the only purpose DOT serves

Thats what Ive seen with them for atleast the last few years and regret not going there a long time ago.

Im looking at using the l/p truck as a tool, make the payment, put $ in escrow for maintenance/repairs and make a paycheck. Im paying $1200/mo for insurance right now and its crazy. Obviously fuel is killing all of us, I spent almost $2200 on fuel last week, and pretty much every week, on less than 2500mi.

Not to mention dry van is killing me. Not the running, but the loading/unloading and dealing with some of the dumbest people in trucking
. Last night some dipwad backed in my assigned dock and because he didn't speak any English, couldn't understand he needed to move. Lost 45min just to that crap.
