Snackbar is chillin'....at Shaffer

Just got off the phone with a fellow Shaffer bizarre situation he's in Oklahoma on 35 being held hostage at a dot weight station...he's legal being told we're not letting any crete drivers pass until your fines are paid off...he's told some other driver was over 1k on his trailer paid with a personal check or credit card that bounced so they tell my guy you need to pay us 250 and your truck can't go anywhere until that's paid off...he gets an efs check as is released idk this is harassment to me... what's one driver have to do with another drivers problem, they know who he is got his tractor trailer #s they shouldn't be doing that to other legal drivers it's bs... crazy though

 

Think you're being told a fishin story. You pay the judge, not the scale in OK.

 

I saw a Crete truck late this afternoon parked at the SB Davis scale on 35 in Oklahoma. Driver didn't look too happy. I wonder if that was related.

 

I didn't believe it either and there was another Shaffer driver on three way questioning the entire situation but I heard thr dot police in the background when he gave them the efs check and said the person with the gun is usually in control... I told him to report it to wilmer (where he was headed) tm as harassment because that's bs inmo

Been a long while since I delivered at Henderson. Anyone drive off the uppper level there lately?

 

Ran into a trailer on fire on i8 late at night. Was in a section where the nearest city was over 30 miles away and it was already completely engulfed in flames. By the time any firetruck would arrive it will be just a pile of ash.

Driver was safely disconnected and a ways away from trailer so my guess is something happened with his trailer tandems.
