Pretty much exactly the way I would build a margarita if I was to get a wild hair and drink a margarita

    Cast iron? Re-seasoning?

Hit it with a wire wheel on a grinder, grease it up with vegetable shortening, and bake it at about 350 for 3-4 hours.

That works well on my frying pans.

Wow, that sucks. No prior indication that she had any bad reaction to anesthesia or antibiotics? That's going to be rough...however, pain meds shouldn't be out of the question, unless they want her awake and not sedated so they know the difference...kind of like a head wound...don't let them sleep, in case it's a concussion..and they may not wake up. :( Again, kneemail/prayers being sent.

And this is the part of trucking I love! When I get to stay the evening in a beautiful place in my truck and get to see the amazing places our country has ♡ Stopped for the evening in Hood River, OR for the pickup in the morning. I got to drive through lovely rush hour Portland traffic. That was a joke! They are IMO worse than L.A. drivers. Only thing that really sucks are the days that I feel more alone than anything. Not that talking with people on here isn't awesome and all, but not having any family, many friends, or my own family sucks. All well. Part of life I suppose. I'm fine when I drive, but the minute I'm stopped for the day or waiting to get loaded/unloaded, that loneliness kicks in and my mind runs wild.

That's exactly what I did. If you zoom in you can see the marks still from the grinder. It looked like someone soaked it in water and put away wet. Should of got before pics Lol. Looked like o_Oo_Oo_O

One better idea, IMHO, is to do a soda or sand blast on it because of those pits in the cast surface, it's almost impossible to get it all out with wire brushes, and I think those little bumps are kind of what helps give it the properties it has, kind of like little offsets from a flat surface to allow heat into all the little places where there is a little 'divot' in the surface...with oil in it, cooking it. :)
Eventually, wire wheeling will smooth it down.
