Thank you, I really appreciate the advice and the pep talk Since I've never been close to anyone really I figured trucking wouldn't affect me I'm any way. Not saying I don't like it or I want to do something else because I really do love this career. I just didn't think I would have days of feeling so down. I don't have any place to call home. I'm not close with anyone. I have nothing to lose. So I didn't think it would affect me like it does to those who have families back home or have a social life, etc. Boy was I wrong. Don't know why it gets to me so much sometimes. I guess the whole older age thing makes you start worrying more I guess. Idk

A good long soaking with a strong oven cleaner would make the wire brushing and light sanding go a lot quicker. You could check with a kitchen store for a beeswax puck to lightly reseal the pores before using a high smoke point oil at least 3 light coating. Heat to 300 for 1 hour to set the wax then after cooling light coats of oil at 350 for 2 hours 3 times cooling to warm between each coat.

 

I went with the fleet one efs card or whatever it's called. Still learning which places it works and doesn't. I've only ever used comdata. I admit I've never shopped around for fuel either . Just always filled whatever place was most efficient for my route. But a .60 cent discount I can't say no to that.
